Brenna is a third-year Woodwind Performance and Editing, Writing, and Media major at Florida State University. Her research interests include Classical to Romantic musicology, protest music across the world, and ethnomusicology and its impact on the Western Tradition. She also enjoys the analysis and impact of the American Musical. Brenna has presented research on the intersection of dance and American history at the FSU Undergraduate Research Symposium and plans on defending an undergraduate thesis with a special performance about music and mythology. She is also involved in the Beta Alpha chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota, a music fraternity, and Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honor Society at Florida State. Brenna is beyond thrilled to be an inaugural member of the JURM editorial board and is looking forward to helping its development!
