The Journal of Undergraduate Research in Music
The mission of the Journal of Undergraduate Research in Music (JURM) is to promote, publish, and share the excellent music research and scholarship by undergraduate students across the United States. JURM is committed to encouraging dialogue focused on efforts of diversity, equity, accesibility, and inclusion in music, with an emphasis on anti-racist and gender inclusive research.
2021 CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS!
The inaugural issue of the Journal of Undergraduate Research in Music will look a little different from its expected format in future issues. Due to time constraints, the first issue of JURM will focus on a single special topic, Exploring Intersections with Western and Non-Western Music Traditions. This means that for this first issue, we will not be accepting research on other topics. Please see our Special Topics tab to learn more about this first issue.
