What is meta360?

meta360 is an Android/iOS app to make your images recognized as 360 photos on Google Photos, facebook etc.

How to use

Android

1. Open the image (JPG) on your gallery app (Quickpic & Google Photos are recommended)

2. Send it to this app via share menu (normally the icon with connected 3 dots)

3. Converted image is automatically saved in /meta360 folder as "PANO_<original_name>".

iOS

1. Click the gray icon, then choose the image to be converted.

2. Converted image is automatically saved in /meta360 folder as "PANO_<original_name>".

FAQ

Q: Share menu doesn't appear (Android).

Check if your image is JPG file. Or use other decent gallery apps (Quickpic & Google Photos are recommended).

Q: Converted image looks stretched in 360 mode.

Check your image format. It must be fully 360x180 panorama, equirectangular format & 2:1 aspect.

Q: Image still not recognized as 360 after conversion

This app doesn't modify the original image. You'll find the converted one in ./meta360/ folder.

Q: I can only see gray icon. What should I do? (iOS)

Be brave. Click that icon.
