Accomadation

Gorselands is a large detached extended two storey Victorian home providing personal care for twenty one elderly residents.

The accommodation is provided on 2 levels with 17 single rooms (8 with en-suite) and 2 double room.


Each bedroom is furnished with a nurse call bell, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and an armchair. However, the residents could bring their own furniture and ornaments to make them feel home. We can make arrangements for residents who need special beds/walking frames/wheel chair etc through the local surgery or social services. Every room has a telephone point and a television point. We have a lounge where you could socialise and entertain your guests, listen to your choice of music, watch television, or read. You could also receive your guests in the dining room. There is a quite lounge on the first floor you could just watch the passers by.

Outside is with a pleasant secluded garden where you can spend time and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. To the front of the property there is a large parking area for many visitors as possible.

The home has all doors and hallways with wheelchair access and there is a 6 person passenger lift and a chair lift. The home is well decorated and maintained to high standards to ensure the living environment is pleasant.
