Two Italian dubs of the Little Lulu anime were produced, with the first being released in 1981 and the second being released in 1995. 

In 1980, Italy was sold on ZIV International’s catalog of titles by Agrama Film Enterprises, founded by Frank Agrama, who would later open up Harmony Gold in 1983. Little Lulu was included in the bundle. The show was bought by VID (Video International Distributors). 

The 1981 Italian dub is currently lost media. The only clip was uploaded by Dailymotion user ‘maruse,' containing a low-quality rip of the opening.

In 1981, Heritage Cinematografica produced a movie for Italian cinemas that comprised several episodes of the Little Lulu anime. The movie was called, "The Incredible Adventures of Little Lulu" (Le incredibili avventure della Piccola Lulú). As seen in promotional posters, the artwork was made exclusively for this movie, sticking very close to the original style of the anime. New music was used in replacement of Mark Mercury's soundtrack. Two songs composed by Cesare Regazzoni and Massimo Chiodi were used for the movie's opening and closing, both sung by Beatrice Cori.

EMI Film released the movie on DVD in 2010. One of the original posters was used for the cover. The DVD can still be bought on Amazon and other sites. 

On June 20, 2019, Youtube channel ‘FilmIsNow Drive-In’ began to release short clips from the movie. In early 2020 however, the channel unlisted most of the clips that they originally uploaded. Fortunately on May 15, 2020, ‘FilmIsNow Drive-In’ brought the entire movie up on YouTube for free. 

The second dub was produced in 1995 by SD Cinematografica. An Italian cover of the English theme song was used for both the opening and ending sequences. All 26 episodes were dubbed in Italian, providing the best video quality of the series to date.
