Clubs
High School East as a wide variety of clubs available to students that span all areas of interest. Check out whats available on the list to the right and join the Google Classroom for any you are interested in to find out more. Passionate about something but don't see a club for it? Find a faculty member willing to advise your club and other students who are interested and start your own!
Sports
Interested in playing a sport. Check out our Raider Athletics page to see which sports are offered each season. Already an athlete? Find important information and paperwork on our district Athletics page.
Community Service
Volunteering is important for your college resume, admission into NHS, as well as for potential scholarships. If you get 40 hours of community service in the school year you will be recognized at our Community Service Breakfast in May. If you get 160 hours over the course of 4 years you will receive a cord to wear at graduation. Community Service log cards are available in Guidance. You must log your hours to be eligible for recognition. Community service is NOT required to graduate. National Honor Society
NHS is an organization of high achieving students who are recognized for their Scholarship, Character, Leadership, and Service. Juniors with at 4.5 weighted or 3.75 unweighted GPA or higher will be invited to apply to the HSE chapter of NHS in the Spring. Having significant community service hours is required for acceptance. If you want to be a part of NHS make sure you are getting started now on your volunteer hours.
