Developing your Individual Pathway Plan
Students will be using the myBlueprint website (click on blue button above) throughout their years in high school for course selection, exploring career options, and gathering information for post-secondary plans. Grade 9 students are expected to use the Individual Pathways Plan (IPP) Tasks to help plan courses for Grade 10 and enter 2 goals for their Grade 9 year.
Community Service Hours Form
The TCDSB has updated the Guidelines for Community Service. If you have completed any community service hours, please review the new Guidelines (right click on the image to the left and open in PDF viewer), fill out the form contained in the link with your volunteer coordinator and submit it to Mrs. Angie Paolini, Guidance Secretary (email: angela.paolini@tcdsb.org).
Study Tips for Grade 9 Students
Be engaged, take notes and actively listen.
Keep up to date with your homework. Practice makes perfect!
Have an organizational system in place.
Have a routine and do your best to stick to it.
Have daily and weekly objectives in place.
Do NOT procrastinate! Manage your time wisely and adhere to the deadlines.
Unplug, log off, mute, and power down. Turn OFF or SILENCE your phone.
Manage your stress. Do things that promote your self-care. Exercise, Sleep, Eat, Listen to Music!
Create an ideal study area
Use technology to your advantage!
