N7.2-Add, subtract, multiply and divide decimal numbers.

By the end of this unit I should:

1) Be able to estimate the addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of decimals, using appropriate strategies ( rounding, front-end strategy etc.)

2) Add and subtract decimals ( line up the decimal place)

3) Multiply and divide decimals using base 10 blocks ( model) and symbolically

4) Multiply and divide by 10, 100, 1000... 0.1, 0.01, 0.001 etc.

5)Apply operations with decimals to word problems.

6) Apply order of operations with decimals ( exponents not included)
