NOPA ARTS – Artists of the North Panhandle Group Formed

NOPA ARTS has formed as the official group of artists residing in the North Panhandle neighborhood of San Francisco, California. Anyone who is an artist or supports the efforts of local artists is welcome to join. Particular recognition is given to our members who participate in the annual San Francisco Open Studios.

NOPA ARTS charter member artpaul cartier will participate in SF Open Studios on October 19th and 20th, 2013. On both days, the NOPA ARTS artist will open his studio to the public between the hours of 11am and 6pm and have his work on display for viewing and purchase. He will hold an opening reception the evening before from 6-9PM. Information on eartpaul cartier can be found on the group’s Facebook Page, in the Open Studios 2013 printed guide, and on Artspan’s website.

On exhibit in the studio/gallery will be new work, as well as older work, at a variety of price points.

The Holiday season begins now!

For visitors to the member’s galleries on the Open Studio weekend, the North Panhandle neighborhood has convenient street parking, easy MUNI access (Buses #21, 5, 31, and 43), and is on several bike routes (#30, 45, 51, 55). Within walking distance are Golden Gate Park, Alamo Square’s "Painted Ladies", Upper Haight, Divisadero corridor, many shops, cafes, lounges and Victorian architecture.

NOPA ARTS has formed to promote the presence of working artists in the region north of Panhandle Park.

NOPA ARTS will take part in SF Open Studios on the weekend of Oct. 19-20.

Opening reception, Oct. 18, 6-9PM.

On exhibit will be Photography and Assemblage.

A location map of NOPA ARTS' studios and galleries will be available in the neighborhood.

NoPa has street parking, easy MUNI access (Bus lines #21, 5, 31, and 43), and is on several Bike routes (#30, 45, 51, 55). Nearby are Golden Gate Park, Alamo Square, many Victorian and Edwardian "Painted Ladies". shops, cafes, and lounges.
