1. Understanding your camera:

What it does and what it's trying to tell you

All those numbers in your display - which are the most important, what they mean, and why you should care.

Understanding of technique, metering, strategies…

2. Portraiture:

Posing and lighting, what is possible?

Lights! Camera! Strike a pose! Ready for the close-up?

Take portraits beyond the snapshot and DMV.

3. Action! Photos!

Work with an acrobat/model as she runs through her act!

Learn strategies for freezing action, showing movement, lighting and composition

Copying Stuff:

Set up, lighting and exposure

Photograph still life, 2D and 3D for art, pleasure, and craigslist.

Dates and Locations: TBA

Each workshop is 3 hours long, and costs $60/person. Limit of 12 persons.

Bring cameras, questions, and (if you have them) manuals, tripods, lenses, flash, etc.!
