Both plans give unlimited access to all classes in the library, workshops, and tutorials. This is an excellent deal, considering that most platforms charge at least $20-30 for a single course. Domestika has several pricing models. You can either purchase single courses, each one costs between $10 and $40, buy a bundle of 3-6 courses with a 30-40% discount, or opt for a Domestika Plus subscription that gives you one credit each month that can be exchanged for any course (more credits can be purchased if needed) and a 20% discount on all courses in the library. Domestika Plus has a monthly or annual option, the latter being cheaper.
Skillshare vs. Domestika Free Trial
Skillshare offers a 30-day free trial option to anyone who wants to try out the platform before becoming a paying member. This gives you time to explore Skillshare, take a couple of classes, and see whether it is a good fit for you. There are thousands of free classes available on Skillshare., and you can take as many as you want. Even though it's a good offer, I think that paid classes have higher quality.
Domestika has a KeepOnCreating section on the website, where all the courses are free. There is no limit to how many courses you can take. The selection is not very big but there are some good ones there.
Skillshare vs. Domestika Courses
Skillshare has over 30,000 classes in the library that are divided into three different categories: CREATE (Animation, Fine Art, Creative Writing, Film & Video, Music, Web Development, Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Illustration, Photography), BUILD (Marketing, Business Analytics, Leadership & Management, Freelance & Entrepreneurship), and THRIVE (Lifestyle, Productivity). Most Skillshare classes are 2-3 hours long and are broken into shorter lessons. The classes are not live so you can watch them wherever and whenever you want. Skillshare classes are usually taught by experts and sometimes even celebrities. Compared to Domestika, Skillshare has a much wider variety of classes to choose from, you can learn anything from coding to cooking and meditation there. The quality of classes is generally good. I did come across a few ones that were not so great, but you can always read reviews from former students to avoid that. Most Skillshare classes are produced by teachers with the exception of Skillshare Originals that are produced in-house (I like those ones the most).

Domestika has fewer courses than Skillshare and all of them are aimed at creatives. There are illustration, craft, marketing, business, photography, video, fashion, writing, design, 3D, animation, architecture, spaces, music, audio, web and app design, calligraphy, and typography courses available on Domestika. There is also a whole section called Domesika Basics that has courses in software most commonly used by creatives, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro X, etc. All the courses are produced by Domestika itself, and the quality is usually great. There are courses for all levels, from beginner to advanced.
In the past, almost all Domestika courses were in Spanish with English subtitles, but over the past couple of years, the catalog of English courses has expanded tremendously, and new courses are being added on a regular basis.
Once you purchase a Domestika course, there won't be any deadlines, you can learn at your own pace. Most courses last from a couple of hours to 10+ hours and consist of short video lessons, assignments, and a final project.

Skillshare vs. Domestika Are Certificates Accredited?
Skillshare classes are not accredited and you won't get any certificate after you complete a course. It is more about gaining practical knowledge and learning real-world skills than getting any certification.
Domestika offers certificates of attendance to any student who completes a course. To receive a certificate you need to have all course units marked, and if you want your certificate to include a QR code that will be linked to a course project, then you will need to complete it, too. You can share your certificates with anyone and even put them on your CV.
Skillshare vs. Domestika Is It Worth It To Take Online Courses?
Skillshare is a good learning platform for anyone who wants to learn new skills fast. It is also one of the most affordable ones - for $14 a month you get access to all 30K+ classes. There are no certificates and the classes are not accredited, but you can learn a lot. Overall, Skillshare is worth it.
Domestika is a good choice for people who want to learn creative skills or improve the existing ones. The courses are cheap - starting at just $10, the quality is good as the classes are produced by Domestika. There are many courses in English to choose from, so in my opinion, Domestika is worth it.

Both Skillshare and Domestika are good online learning platforms, and it's hard to choose which one is the best because it depends on your needs.
For me, Skillshare is a better option for several reasons. The price is definitely one of them. I have an annual subscription which means that I pay just $14 a month and take as many classes as I want. There are also more classes to choose from.
However, if you are looking for courses in creative subjects, then it's worth giving Domestika a try. There are many great courses available and the prices are low compared to many platforms. You can also take some courses for free which is a bonus, too.
