*Technology Education heavily relates to other content areas/disciplines. There are several links between math, science, engineering and technology. Scientific principles are specifically listed in the NC Standard Course of Study and several lessons contain scientific and mathematic principles. New STEM based lesson integrate several concepts of math, science, engineering and technology.

*When classes discuss different technologies, I usually bring up how these technologies are being used in other countries. For example, when I do the bridge project, students look at bridges in China, the United Arab Emirates, Europe, and other countries. We also look at other countries for the energy and power lessons and how these countries use and pollute with their energy technologies.
