All part #s are Phillips. You can cross reference them to and bulb maker.
In response to a posting about why two headlights might look different in color when one had been replaced by a body shop, boxtabox posted:
"The reason is that, in your 2000 model year car, they used different hue bulbs. I have Litronics from a 2000 Boxster S too, and if you take the Phillips bulb out, it will show a bulb number (as seen in the picture below). Bulb number 85123 was what was included in that year, and gives off more of a blue hue, but were later discontinued. The new model number bulb is 85122+ (a lot less blue). You may get also have the much older model of the bulb which is 85122. These are much more white.
Another important factor is operating hours (bulb life). When HID bulbs get old they shift color to more blue or purple. At the time when I thought I had problems with my Litronics flickering out, I thought at first the bulb itself was the culprit, so I sourced 2 used, but still relatively new 85123 bulbs for cheap. They are more blue in color than the newer ones. I'd offer you these bulbs, but I want to keep them in case my current Litronics go out anytime soon, since they are already almost 10 yrs old. You could search for another used 85123 bulb or buy a new bulb to match with whatever bulb you have in the new lamp housing."
