Summary of Covid Rules from March 29th
On Monday 29 March we take Step 1b of the Government's Roadmap out of Lockdown.

The ‘stay at home’ rule will end on 29 March but many restrictions will remain in place.

Here's what is changing on 29 March:
> You will be able to meet outdoors either in a group of 6 (from any number of households), or in a group of any size from up to 2 households (each household can include existing support bubbles, if eligible)
> You will be able to take part in formally organised outdoor sports with any number of people (outdoor sports venues and facilities will be able to reopen - see below)
> Childcare and supervised activities will be allowed outdoors for all children
> Formally organised parent and child groups will be able to take place outdoors for up to 15 attendees. Children under 5 will not be not counted in this number
> Continue to work from home if you can
> Minimise the number of journeys you make where possible
> Avoid travel at the busiest times and routes
> Carry on with HANDS, FACE, SPACE
> Follow COVID-Secure measures that remain in place at different steps
> Let fresh air in
> Watch out for symptoms & get tested when needed
> Get vaccinated when offered
Outdoor Sports Venues and Facilities
At this stage, some further settings will be permitted to open.
This will include outdoor sports facilities such as:
gyms ~ swimming pools ~ sports courts (such as tennis and basketball courts)
golf courses, including mini golf ~ water sports venues ~ climbing walls
driving and shooting ranges ~ riding arenas at riding centres ~ archery venues
People can use these venues in a group of six people, or with members of up to two households.
At this step, formally organised outdoor sport will also return - this can include a larger number of participants, provided that appropriate steps are taken to make it COVID-Secure in line with the law. Indoor facilities, such as changing rooms, should not be used at this time, although toilet facilities can be accessed. At this stage, these gatherings must only include participants - not spectators.
