Sensory Garden
Enjoy a picnic at our picnic table which is located within the Sensory Garden at Larne Museum.
The garden, appealing to all the senses through colour, scent, sound, taste and touch, was designed by local garden designer and artist, Dawn Aston in 2008. Local primary schools, St Anthony's, Larne & Inver and Linn, helped to plant the flower beds and planters.
The garden includes aromatic plants, such as lavender and thyme, along with tactile ornamental grasses that move in the gentlest of breezes, bringing sound and movement to the garden.
