Boutique and Silent Auction

When you're not dancing, you can shop!

We will continue this fun June Camp fundraiser in 2024

Let June Camp inspire you to clear your closets, basements, chests, and attics of costumes that shrank while in storage 😊 or that you no longer wear or treasure, as well as other dance items you've outgrown.  Donating will allow these items to be lovingly adopted into new folk dance homes. Funds raised at the June Camp Boutique help fund students and younger folk to attend June Camp at a reduced rate, ensuring the dance will go on.

Jennifer's Wish-List includes:

      . . . . .  an endless list of possibilities accepted

Roses too?

Many of you will remember Jean McIntosh of Omaha, NE, a faithful, enthusiastic June Camp attendee. Jean was very tall, very thin, and very exquisitely dressed, always. Sadly, Jean died Dec. 7, 2019. Jean was both a generous supporter and contributor to the scholarship boutique. This year we hope to have roses from her garden for sale, to remember her by. In 2022 we had 75-100 of Jean’s skirts & tops, music, etc. as part of the boutique and there are still some left for this year. It would enormously please Jean to have her beautiful clothing have more dancing days.

Silent Auction

We hold a silent auction for items that are more valuable.

This is your chance to be creative -- instead of an item, you could offer a service (e.g. a massage), a homemade meal or treat, the composition of waltz.

Please give us background on the item and a recommendation of a minimum bid.

You can print and fill out the silent auction form in advance for items you bring or offers you suggest.

Items that are not sold may be reclaimed by those who donate them, or will be taken to charities by June Camp staff after camp.

Jennifer Forbes-Baily will be happy to answer any questions: call 402 513 6062 (best), call or text 402 452 6521 (c) or email: jforbes-baily@unomaha.edu   She would also appreciate help with running the boutique, as well as loans of clothing racks and/or dress forms if possible; please contact her!
