Arrival at Camp and Check-in

Coming for the whole weekend? You can settle into your room on campus or at the La Quinta as early as 4 p.m. Thursday.

If you arrive on Thursday, before dancing has started, please come to the Waybright Student Center to check-in and receive your name button and key card if you’re staying in the dorm. The check-in table will be right inside the building entrance.
Thursday supper is on your own.
Once camp has started, check-in will be either in the gym, during dance events, or at the Waybright Center, during meals. Look for Liza (Elizabeth) Bretscher, or Mady Newfield or Nina Lusterman.
If you are staying at the hotel, come to TIU to check-in for camp, and then go to the hotel and check in with the front desk.

The university is located at 2065 Half Day Road, Deerfield, IL 60015. (The address shows up in some places as Bannockburn, which is a village within the town of Deerfield. )
The campus is just east of I-94 and just south of Half Day Rd. Take exit 21 off I-94 to Half Day Road (IL 22) and drive east. Go past Lakeside Rd. and turn right onto Trinity University Drive (the turn is less than ½ mile from the exit).

The La Quinta Inn is located at 2000 Lakeside Dr., Bannockburn, IL 60015.
From the highway, take exit 21 off I-94 to Half Day Rd (IL 22), drive east about ¼ mile and turn right onto Lakeside Dr. Follow Lakeside Dr. less than ½ mile to the hotel, approaching from the north.
From the Waybright Center, continue south as if to go towards the Sports Center, but curve right (west) to stay on Trinity University Drive, which intersects Lakeside Dr. Turn right to approach the La Quinta from the south.

For those who want to drive between locations, parking will be available.

There are many parking lots on campus, including near the dorms and at the Sports Center. You can download a PDF map of campus, showing parking lots.
There is outdoor parking at the hotel.

Hotel check out must be done before noon, so be sure to clear out of your room if you are staying for the whole review Sunday morning. You need to return your keys and pick up your receipt at the desk when you check out.
Dorm check out will be after noon. There will be containers which you can deposit linens in, and keys need to be returned to TIU staff. There is a hefty fee for any lost key cards!
