12 December 2021

Family Christmas Concert

Drill Hall 17 Amwell End, Ware SG12 9HP

Adults £14 , Students/Children £6 and Family Ticket (2 adults & 2 children) £34

Join Hertford Symphony Orchestra at Drill Hall on Sunday 12 December for this magical Christmas Concert with something to delight every member of the family!

A world premiere of 'Sounds of the Forest' by Margaret Holter will charm everyone and anyone who loves a good story!

In addition, children drawn from a number of Hertford and Ware Primary Schools will be performing four delightful carols ranging from 'jazzy' to gentle. Many of these children have never experienced a live symphony orchestra before, let alone had the opportunity to sing with one! A fabulous experience for them and for all of us!

HSO's spirit of Christmas will also be in full flight as they magic up some traditional carols to accompany the audience sing-along, a sprinkling of Dvorak, Nielsen, Mozart and Sibelius 'Finlandia' and the gloriously Christmassy 'Sleigh Ride' by Leroy Anderson!

The Drill Hall is well ventilated and spacious!

Covid-19 means we are still encouraging our audiences to wear face coverings into the hall - so how about some Christmas themed masks to raise our spirits and put a smile on everyone's faces?
