Headington Quarry Morris Dancers

HQMD practise every Monday night from 8.00pm to 9.00pm in the´Hut´ which is situated in the garden of The Masons Arms public house.

Prospective members are always welcome. Why not come along and give it a go?

Headington Quarry Morris Dancers are probably the longest established Morris Dancing Side to be found in Oxford. We can trace our history back to 1899 and beyond, starting in Headington Quarry, now still a distinct village but also part of Headington which itself is part of the city of Oxford in Oxfordshire.

1st May 2015

We regularly dance traditional Headington Quarry Morris dances and dances from other local traditions in the village of Headington Quarry (outside the pubs, The Mason's Arms, The Chequers, and the Six Bells), outside the Anchor Public House in Jericho on May Morning, in and around Oxford and Oxfordshire and sometimes further afield.
