Tree Trail

Trees and Trail Project

Friends of the Humber Bridge Country Park were awarded a Community Wildlife Big Lottery Grant for our Trees and Trail Project. The project ran from March 2011 - March 2012 and consisted of:

1. Community wildlife workshops/events about trees in our woods, led by local experts and the ERYC's Countryside Team.

2. Creating a wildlife panel about trees in the park similar to the bird and butterfly panels we produced and installed in 2009.

3. Producing a tree trail through the woods with tree ID markers on route using the knowledge and skills gained from the workshops.

4. Tree planting and conservation activities. The result is The Tree Trail through the park
