How to find us



The Humber Bridge Country Park is located on the western side of Hessle town, 1km from the Town Square. It is positioned at the northern end of the Humber Bridge in the East Riding of Yorkshire.


The country park stretches from Ferriby Road, Hessle in the north to the Clive Sullivan Way A63 and rail line from Hull to Doncaster in the south. To the west is the property of Hesslewood Hall and residential accommodation and to the east the Country Park adjoins Humber Bridge Board land.

The country park lies at the junction of two major traffic routes, the A63 running east/west and the A15 running north/south. The country park is easily accessible from within and outside the county via the M62/A63, M180/A180, A15 and A1079/A164 roads.

For people without cars, public transport is available from Hull, Grimsby, Cleethorpes and Scunthorpe. Buses stop at the north end of the Bridge. A train station is situated some 3/4 mile to the east of the country park on the Hull to York/Doncaster line.

Public access into the country park can be gained:

1. From the main Humber Bridge Board car park next to the anchorage access road.
