How to find us:

On Foot

The lab is accessible through two entrances . One is in a tunnel through the Old Cavendish building and can be seen on the map. This can be entered via Free School Lane or the New Museums Site. The other entrance is located closer to Bene't Street. Once existing Bene't Street through a gate next to the Brewdog bar, walk forward towards a covered section, and the door will be on the right. However, many entrances require card access: please contact lab members who can find you and let you in.

Via Public Transport

Bike/e-Scooter - Cambridge is a bike-friendly city with Voi bikes and scooters available throughout, as well as ample bike parking if you have your own bike. The nearest bike parking is available at the northern end of Free School Lane.

Bus - The lab is within 5-10 minutes walk from bus stops serving a variety of bus routes. See below for nearest stops and the routes that serve them:

Emmanuel Street - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, PR4, PR5

St Andrews Street - 1, 2, 3, PR1, PR3

Regent Street - A, C

Pembroke Street - U1, U2, PR3

Train - The nearest train station is Cambridge, and serves multiple train routes from London, Birmingham, Norwich, Kings Lynn and Stansted Airport. From the train station, our lab is about a 25 minute walk towards the city centre, or a short trip on the 1, 3 or A buses.

Plane - The nearest airport is Stansted, with direct train links to Cambridge. Other airports that link to London are also accessible for Cambridge by train.
