Dependent on your attitude to risk you might think, well why not just leave it alone – I’ll come back if I get (different) symptoms.
Unfortunately if we wait for people to present with symptoms of oesophageal cancer, then over half will have disease that cannot be cured.
So it is important to try and catch it at an earlier stage when we can try and do something about it.
