NICA/MHSCL Fee: $100 (One time per season) 6th – 12th grade – This fee must is paid directly to MCA before you can ride with the team.  This fee pays for team organization, team insurance, league development and program benefits. Students can register online at ccnbikes.com. Contact the Head Coach or Team Director for more information. The fee is not prorated.

Race Fees: $50 per race  We participate in a maximum of 5 races during the race season. A Super Pass will be offered for $150 for all 4 races. Race registration must be completed by August 1 for the Super Pass and August 15 for individual races. Once this deadline has passed, a rider will not be able to race in 2023. Registration and payment can be made online.

Team Jersey: $65 6th – 12th grade riders are required to have a team jersey to race. All other apparel are available for purchase, but not required for racing.

Team Shorts: $95

Team Socks: $8

Free Ride Short Sleeve Jersey: $60 This jersey can be substituted for the traditional team jersey.

Free Ride baggy shorts: $80

Midweight Cycling Jacket: $110

Team Tech Shirt: $20 ($25 personalized) Available for purchase for riders and riders friends and families.

Additional apparel may be available as new products are released.

Other required equipment: Helmet and shoes (closed toe)

Mountain bike: The team does not generally provide bikes to riders. NICA has agreements with several bike companies to purchase new bikes at a discount through local bike shops. (NICA and Austin Cycling Team have a loaner program for riders that are not able to afford a bike.  Contact us for more information.)

Scholarship:

Financial help for registration and races is available through NICA Scholarship or locally, for those in need. Must meet free lunch guidelines at your school to qualify. Contact us for more information. Forms also available through Austin Park and Rec office, or on www. minnesotamtb.org website.
