Our team is comprised of 2 categories: High Schools and Middle Schools in the Austin area and Mower County. As part of the Minnesota High School Cycling League, we are categorized as a Division 2 team made up of co-ed students from aligning schools.

High School Team

The high school team is is divided into 4 categories: 9th grade, JV2, JV3, and Varsity. All 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students race in JV2 or above. Those students placing in the upper percentile at the end of the season will be placed in the JV3 category the next season. Students excelling in their performance may petition to race in the JV3 or varsity category.

Middle School Team

Middle school student race within their respective grades, 6th, 7th and 8th grade. In 2017, the Minnesota High School Cycling League added the 6th grade category to participate in several aspects of the team. In 2019, 6th graders began racing as part of the middle school team.
