Rodney was an accomplished artist and painted the murals on each of the floors at High

Rise Apartments, and was a drummer for many local bands including Haydevils and Chinchilla Sweet.

He wrote, directed and produced commercials for HUD and his own music CD entitled Escape. He loved to

travel throughout the United States and was much adored by many nieces and nephews.
