Ms. Francavilla

Hello, students and parents! I am looking forward to the 2018-19 school year with you. This will be my eleventh year teaching 5th and 6th grades and my second year teaching social studies at West Lake. I am looking forward to another great year!

I have lived in Holly Springs since 2011, and I truly enjoy being a part of our community. I moved here from VA where I grew up and I go back to visit my family often. I received my undergraduate degree from James Madison University and my masters from the University of Maryland. I've had several other jobs working in the health and fitness industry but realized I wanted to be a teacher after I had my two boys (both in high school this year.) It was a great choice!

I truly enjoy each new year getting to know a new group of students and helping them reach their full potential. In my spare time I enjoy visiting with friends, going for a run, and watching football (Go Steelers!) I also love to tell stories - you will hear a lot this year about my kids, my dog (Cha Cha) and all kinds of things that have happened over the years. I believe that stories are the number one way we learn and I can't wait to hear yours as well!
