This is my 5^th year as a Wildcat at West Lake and I’m extremely excited to be teaching math this year. I was born and raised in North Carolina and graduated from NC State University (Go Pack!) where I received my bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Science Education. After my first year of teaching, I received my certification to teach Middle Grades Mathematics. I believe that learning should always be fun and that every person should strive to learn something new each day. I strive to make my classroom a place where kids can be themselves and learn at the same time. I’m really looking forward to coaching girl’s basketball again this year and watching each of my students grow.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, finding new places to explore, binge-watching new series on Netflix, rooting for NC State, and spending time with family and friends.
