A Monster Calls Activities

Task: Research information on the Cancer Research website (the link is on the 'Websites' page). Create a leaflet that informs people about what this charity does and some of the many ways they could raise money for this charity.

Task: Watch the book trailer on the 'Websites' page. Design an A4 poster that advertises the novel and intrigues potential buyers to want to read the book. The poster must have a drawing, a tagline and a pretend reveiw.

Task: Watch the video of the first tale from A Monster Calls on the 'Websites' page. Write your own allegorical tale about a moral message that you want to teach the reader.

Task: Transform this chapter from A Monster Calls into a script for a play. In your script you need to include:

• Stage directions.

• Dialogue.

• A brief description of the character's costume.
