Sponsorship is the name of the game! Everyone who participates in the Walk-a-Thon and walk laps for 49 minutes around the MHS Athletic Track will have sponsors. Take your pledge/donation sheet to family and friends. The more sponsors you have to back your effort, the more your walk will benefit The Foundation. For example, if you have a sponsor to pledge $2 per lap and you walk 10 laps, your sponsor will contribute $20 to The Foundation. If you have 10 different sponsors at $2 per lap, you will collect $200 ($20 from each sponsor)! Sponsors may make a “per lap” pledge or donation or a “flat” pledge or donation. A flat pledge is when a sponsor chooses to pay a certain amount no matter how many laps you walk, as long as you walk.
