In late 2015, Julie was very happy to hear that a bitch she liked very much, Ava, would be bred to a very good-looking and athletic Ezrin, Cora's nephew. We prefer to space out our dogs but this was a wonderful exception to the rule. Ava whelped eleven puppies, much to our delight. Julie loved Hero from day one, and never changed her mind about her pick.

Raising Hero as a puppy has been an utter delight, due to the amazing work her breeder, Annie Kelsey, puts into her puppies. Hero is lively but well-behaved, no matter where we take her. She is very keen on the lure, loves racing, and with the help of friend Mary Magee, has been in the show ring, where she can display her beautiful movement. Hero has her Honors Ch in Gold from IABCA and her U-Ch from UKC. Hero has seen success on the oval track, where she earned 2 ORC points in her first outing. She has her RATI and RATN from Barn Hunt, and is working on her RATO. She has four of five runs needed for her BCAT. When she is not on the road, Hero enjoys the company Ticket and Sirius and chasing the hose monster.

For 2021 and 2022, we are focused on lure coursing, a sport for which she is well built. She is pointed in ASFA and in AKC. Hero is a very exciting bitch with tons of potential.
