Songbirds

I have a life long interest in all kinds of Birds. Songbirds especially draw my attention as they produce those wonderful sounds that we all enjoy. Nothing beats waking up to the singing Birds on a Spring morning. On a more practical note another reason I like to carve Songbirds is that in many cases I can use leftover bits of wood to produce these little creatures. A small bird in Butternut, such as a Chickadee, will go for $40 and prices rise with the size up to $120 for a Blue Jay. Painted carvings start at $40 and go to $120 depending on size and detail. The Birds pictured here are only a sample of what's available. Commissions welcome.
