Tips to Stay Organized

Weekly Organization Files (click links)

    • Label notebooks and folders with a sticky label. Write your full name, class subject, and teacher's name.

    • Use different colors for each subject's notebook or folder.

    • Do not stuff papers in your book bag.

    • Place papers in the correct folder immediately.

    • Keep one notebook (or agenda) for ONLY writing down homework assignments. Parents, please check daily.

    • Spend time once a week deciding which items are trash and which to treasure.

    • Keep books and folders aligned upright in the locker with the spine facing you. This is similar to a library shelf.

    • Consider purchasing a locker shelf (optional).

    • Keep a pencil box for pencils, pens, USB flash drive, and MORE.

    • Stack personal items for class neatly under your chair or desk. Only place those items you are currently using on the desk or table.

    • Before dismissing, take time to insert any handout into your folder or binder. Check your area for any items you forgot to pack.

All coats and phones must be stored in the locker upon arrival at school.
