We are all on a journey. We are all hero's; every man, woman and child are faced with challenges every day, whether it is tending to our life and family, heading off to work or school or just the act of surviving in this world.
A few years ago, I had an amazing experience during a vision quest that changed the way I live my life and view others around me. Many of these images evolved from my experiences and others are articulated from fellow journeyers.
I create images in hope of inspiring others.
Along with my personal art I teach art classes in Western NC at Haywood Community College, OLLI College for Seniors at UNCA , the Charles George VA Medical Center and several in person and online courses.
I am also involved in many exciting field projects. Currently as a volunteer resident artist at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC, I supervise the Veterans' Mural Project involving Veterans in painting several murals depicting images of service, courage and heroism.
