Week 5

Lesson 1

Dear students, 

Today we shall have a short introduction to our program. In addition, we shall start quickly learning about the important strategies that we should use when reading a story. Then, we shall focus on analyzing the structure of the story since it provides important ques to inform our prediction of the events.

We shall also learn about inferencing and how we can make educated guess.

Lesson 2

Dear students, 

Yesterday, we discussed the strategies used to to answer reading comprehension questions. Now we shall watch another video providing more examples about how we can use inference to better our reading. 

Then, we shall answer True/False questions about a story. Please click the following to answer questions about Tom's Story.
