Gearing towards Quality and Excellence in TVET: SNCAT earns another STAR Rated Programs


August 26, 2021- As Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) celebrates its 27th year anniversary; part of the long-week celebration was the awarding ceremony for the TVET programs that passed and exceeded the given set of criteria for STAR.

The implementation of the System for TVET Accreditation and Recognition (STAR) program paves way for the authority to continue its pursuit on providing quality services and attaining excellence by recognizing the accomplishment and improvement of the institutions who applied for STAR.

The long wait is over! Indeed the hard work of SNCAT headed by its College Administrator, Ms. Abegail B. Eupeña and its entire staff had paid off. After a period of anticipation, among the six (6) qualifications applied for the TESDA STAR Program namely: Food and Beverages Services (FBS) NC II, Cookery NC II, Food Processing NC II, Animal Production (Swine) NC II, Animal Production (Poultry) NC II, and Driving NC II, SNCAT earns two 1-Star Awards. One Star Rating for Food and Beverages Services NC II and 1 Star Rating for Cookery NC II, with the following focal, Ms. Sheryll P. Hofileña and Ms. Joy T. Bayhon, respectively.

SNCAT will continue its goal on achieving far more on its next attempt towards TESDA STAR program. And will carry on providing and accomplishing for its objectives on Governance and Management, Curriculum Development, Support Services, and Program Performance Measures.
