Eupeña of Surigao Del Norte College of Agriculture and Technology joined hand in hand in a Farm Clean-up Activity at SNCAT farm site in preparation for the upcoming Harvest Festival by November this year.

Instead of having a work-at-home arrangement during the disinfection schedule of the campus, the employees initiated by the Farm Services Division conducted clean-up activities such as weeding, fertilizer application, and collection of non-biodegradable waste materials at the cacao and banana area with more than 1,000 cacao trees, and 400 hills of banana and a land area of 1.5 hectares.

This activity encourages the employees’ of SNCAT to engage in Agriculture. Another way to promote its flagship program and to strengthen the implementation of Green TVET. Especially that this sector remains the top priority under the management of our TESDA Director General Secretary Isidro S. Lapeña.

Further this signifies support to the intention of RD Tarhata S. Mapandi to engage the employee in any physical activity that can boost their immune system to combat the health crisis brought by COVID-19 pandemic thus work efficiently.
