Graduation and Distribution of Starter Toolkits to identified EO 70 beneficiaries of Brgy. Cantugas

Surigao del Norte – Armed with full support from the different Government and Non-Government line agencies, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) through the Surigao del Norte College of Agriculture and Technology successfully conferred and distributed training starter toolkits to 25 graduates in Animal Production (Poultry-Chicken NC II) at Cantugas Gymn, Mainit, Surigao del Norte, today.

The said event was graced with the presence of the TESDA Caraga Regional Office personnel headed by RD Tarhata S. Mapandi, TESDA-Surigao del Norte Provincial Office personnel headed by PD Catalina O. Tacubao, SNCAT Personnel headed by the College Administrator II, Ms. Abegail B. Eupeña, Mainit Municipal Mayor Crisanta O. Mondano with the Brgy. Councilors, DepEd-Surigao del Norte Superintendent Dr. Ma. Tessie M. Real, 901st IB under the command of Brig. Gen. George L. Banzon, Resident Mine Manager of Hinatuan Mining Corporation, Engr. Francisco G. Arañez, Jr., RTESD Chairperson Jessie Pagaran and the Indigenous People (IPs) of Cantugas with their Brgy. Captain, Hon. Perfecto G. Galvez. All took part in delivering their message of gratitude, appreciation and encouragement working together in consonance with the government National Task Force to End the Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-LCAC) as indicated in EO no. 70 of Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

Apart from the awarding of training certificates and distribution of starter toolkits, highlighted also in the said event was the turnover of two-unit of desktop computer set to Cantugas Mamanwa IP High School.

The success for today’s activities were all in line with the mantra “TESDA, Abot Lahat” of Sec. Isidro S. Lapeña, Caraga Cares of RD Mapandi and most especially for Pres. Duterte Legacy on Barangyanihan Caravan and implementation of EO 70 programs carried out through Poverty Reduction Livelihood Cluster chaired by TESDA.
