SNCAT Clean-up Drive:

Cleaning spaces, creating happy faces!

Surigao del Norte- Started the month of September 2021 with a blast, the Surigao del Norte College of Agriculture and Technology (SNCAT) Faculty and Staff headed by the College Administrator II, Ms. Abegail B. Eupeńa caught in action during the clean-up drive of Mainit Lakeside (from Boulevard to Bliss area).

This strategy and initiative form part on our commitment to preserve life and good will within the community in support to the directive of our Director General Secretary Isidro S. Lapeña on the implementation of Greening TVET System for sustainable development and the Caraga Cares mantra spearheaded by RD Tarhata S. Mapandi.

The united efforts on this voluntary community service resulted to collection of more than10 sacks (with 50kg capacity) of garbage. The said garbage was gathered and then turned over to the Local Government of Mainit for proper disposal.

Hence, this is one of the SNCAT’s way to encourage and promote environmental action for a cleaner and healthier world. Another way essential to combat the health crisis brought by the COVID-19 pandemic as embodied in the theme “Cleanliness drives away diseases and mental sickness”.
