Coach of the Season
Coach of the Season is a yearly honor award given to nominated coaches. Coaches throughout the state may nominate a deserving coach by providing, in writing, the reasons for their nomination. During the WHSFA Speech and Debate Tournament, all voting coaches are provided the written nominations. Each voting coach present at the state meeting votes for the recipient of that year in three different categories: 1A/2A, 3A and 4A. Coaches can receive the award multiple times.
