What is Drunken Dragon Game is About?

Drunken Dragon Game is a new game, an Inns & Taverns for Adventurers simulator, which will be less RPG-like or like Zelda and closer to Simcity or Rollercoaster Tycoon. You're in charge of one of the inns & taverns that adventurers visit so you'll have quests from them as well as needs they might come across while exploring the land.

You'll have locals who will be looking to find adventurers to complete certain quests because around there might be different dangers. Here is an example: there is a castle of undead nearby the town so these locals will come with quests for you and it is your duty as the owner of this tavern, which has become a guild of adventures, to attract them and send them off on their quest in order to grow your business!

Blockchain, the technology on Cardano will be used to create a living economy in which players have different types of missions. These missions require materials or items for an adventurer's survival. You'll also be able to craft items to supply your adventurers with what they need in order to complete quests for rewards that can help them move forward throughout their journey!

Integrating blockchain into this game is a deep system of owning the deed to your tavern, whoever holds it will be able to use their specific location with surrounding resources and challenges. Adventurers might die and this means that FTS (fungible tokens) will be burned, then destroyed from the blockchain. To keep them for you to remember in the future, we recreate them as a tombstone on our system as an art!

The focus of the game is on building community and fantasy adventures. We are creating an experience around a tavern, which promotes sharing experiences with others in your party.

The Inns and Taverns

The inns will be represented by NFT's. You'll be able to trade it or transfer it like real estate. The more quests you complete, the better adventurers come in. You increase your tavern through expansion or improvements of your inn. You could open up a brewery that will create new meat types for different types of adventurer traits or expand to blacksmith and craft unique artifacts. The goal is to attract players with these specific abilities. Your NFT starts evolving and becomes even more valuable!

Quests:

The quests are going to be related to the environment around players, quest will have some impact on the game world. The world will change dynamically around your quest that has been fulfilled it would have long-term effects on players. As an example: If not enough players complete the quests to defeat Undead Lord, his castle will expand into a vast forest. The quest difficulty around this area will also increase.

The quest will be for up to 5 players. Some quests are only a single slot and in those cases, you'll send one adventurer on the mission. You can have as many adventures as at your tavern!

You will be limited not by the number of adventurers you have, but rather by the number of quests you can find. As you progress and get more reputation (or experience), you will receive more difficult quests which lead to higher rewards. The game should be approached very strategically in terms of choosing who to level up or whether certain combinations should even develop at all. This is where strategy comes into play with this tavern management game; it's about being strategic about compositions and selecting when/who to empower and which consumables would prove most useful for your team overall.

Whales will be capped in a few ways.

To have a good amount of interesting quests, players will need to raise the reputation of the taverns. That will require completing more difficult quests with greater rewards. The only way to succeed is by playing through the game! Whales won't be able to control the game by owning a lot of adventures. The game will require you to level them up, care about their reputation and politics with other players. You'll need strategic thinking!

The Drunken Dragon Arena:

This is a concept that is in development to introduce battle arena Grandmasters Adventurers can fight. This is the PvP and that's the only way your Grandmaster Adventurers can die, whoever wins will get one sign of applause because they killed an immortal. And then at the end, it would be just 1 vs 1. This would be optional of course; if you even want to enter the arena and bet on your expensive adventure, obviously this won't be required but this option might be introduced.

There would be no pressure to participate and respect t players that choose not to participate in PvP. They will also have a role in the economy.

Is DND will be available on PC or Mobile?

The game is being developed for mobile-first and then PC. Developers stated that they want to do both eventually. The nature of the game, which will be a collectible-based shared experience, seems best suited towards mobile development.

Graphics and gameplay Of DND

The graphics of the Drunken Dragon game will be new-generation high-quality 2d isometric pixel art. It will be built on the Unreal engine to satisfy the players with current standards in the game industry.

Grandmasters Adventurers Vs Pixel Tiles

Grandmaster adventurers in the DND:

The grandmaster adventurers will work as well as the pixel tile adventurers. The grandmaster's adventures are something unique. Creators wanted to make these in the beginning not just to raise funds but give special things for those who supported the game from the beginning.

Grandmaster adventurers can be sent to quest as well as Pixel Tiles but their mortality will be different. However, creators reserving ourselves the right to balance this out (not to overpower the GMs). So pixel tile adventurers can go into an adventure. Just be aware that there's a risk and reward system in place. If you take too much risk and he dies during the quest then the pixel tile is lost forever.

Grandmaster adventurers will feel special, but won't be overpowered. There would be diminishing returns as you level them up so that people who can't get their grandmasters don’t find the experience ruined for themselves.

Will there be more of Grandmaster Adventures?

Probably not. There won't be new releases of any grandmaster adventures anytime soon because those were supposed to be something special for the first supporters of this project. Instead, the focus will be on pixel tiles.

Since it's an essential part of a tavern, yeah, there will be an option!

Pet System In The Game

It is planned to add the pet system into the game, such as a cat or dog. Maybe even a tiny dragon? Lizard? Salamander (fire salamander)? Pretty much anything is possible! There is so much potential to explore the idea.

Leveling up the characters

Distribution on the armor and weapon stats of Grand Masters gives them a rarity, making them special. People trade based on this, so it will always be respected in the game. Leveling up system might be similar to Pokemon, where you have some rare base stats and then can level from there.

The progression through leveling doesn't make it feel unfair for people who don't have extremely rare max-out base stats, but it still makes it unique. So people who have high level 4 or 6 already feel ten percent more powerful than others; this will make those loots desirable enough to be unique without being overpowering

New pixel titles:

The series two of the pixel tiles promised to be of higher quality. The background will be changed, and animation will be added! This should attract more people looking to collect high-quality pixel art.

The priority of this game is to make it fun for players. It's super important that the in-game economy runs smoothly. In the game, you'll cooperate with others or compete against them based on how your resources are distributed around you. Brew potions to give to other people adventurers are one of the core features of the game. Players should be strategic about who they let into their tavern while creating an economy between all other player characters in a given area!

It is strategically beneficial for those with resources, like gold and items, to only let certain players into their establishments while making others travel far away for supplies instead.

The consumables will be super important, and there will be resources around your tavern. Resources are required to create potions and brews, weapons and armors that allow you to enter more difficult quests with great loot to defeat stronger monsters for better NFT rewards.

Landing characters to other players concept from Axie Infinity

Another feature that was discussed came from Axie Infinity, and some of the pioneers in this world are renting out your grandmaster adventurers for ADA (a cryptocurrency). If something similar is implemented, it would have to regulate the game economy or bring new exciting features for players. Just making more ADA isn't a good enough argument for developers.

If you could place your adventures as mercenaries for hire and have the option to betray their employer, then reputation may play a significant role in the game. There is no guarantee it will be developed, but these mercenaries can do things they're hired to do and get a valuable reward (reputation) in this process! This aspect is something that will benefit the players.

When Can I play The Drunken Dragons? Roadmap

The first part of the game: Collectors Experience, will be delivered in q4 2021. The game will be given to players in parts when pieces are ready. The Drunken dragon game essentials (INNS and Quests) should be prepared in q4 2021.

Hammerite is a company that will be working on Drunken Dragon gameplay. Professional company with creative vision and matching culture behind the development. One senior game developer (an unreal engineer) will be joining us on the 8th of September; plus, a highly talented 2nd artist Mayteesk, so it'll start ramping up right away.

The adventurers will be like statues in the first phase, so it is directly using already existing pixel tiles. In Phase 2, there will be an update where the whole tavern will be animated.

The strategy is to be delivering parts to you instead of spending years on the development and then throwing it into your hands. There is already a split between Drunken Dragons in quests and Dragon's Inn. The priority is to have a functional game with key features that everybody wants right away.

Taverns and Inns:

Taverns are not mandatory to play the game. The exact mechanism to make it as flat as possible is not yet decided, but developers don’t want whales owning the whole continent so that the taverns will be very affordable.

The best game that could ever be built is where players can add to the game's development, according to Vledic. Even at this stage of the game, there is a suggested voting system that is being implemented. Highest voted suggestions are being discussed and implemented.

Diversity is a key thing to consider when projecting the world, as we showed in our campaign. Humans, elves and tieflings are all represented here, among other races created for this game. It's essential to make sure these cultures are correctly displayed through the way they dress or what they look like culturally speaking - we have used many materials for reference! A multicultural world has always been considered when designing characters and their backgrounds :)

Drunken dragon is a high-quality pixel art that the world just noticed, but 3d games were born. Pixel art was evolving with Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis consoles. Everyone jumped into making 3D games, but those who didn't use technology for it used it for the next level of pixel arts. I think we will try to achieve that. You probably already noticed that 2 d pixel art trend is coming back.

I'm going to be looking for an obvious and distinct silhouette of the characters so that they will pop out from afar. The color, costumes, fun! I want it to have some humor too.

I want to put a lot of different types of plants around my tavern and not just one type. The plant comes from either desert or mountainous land, so that it will have its unique lore. When we make this game, our main objective is to tell many characters' stories and give them personality, creating a fantasy for the player.

Be aware of scams that have multiplied since Cardano is doing so well. Always check the policy IDs and make sure you're not making transactions on unverified collectibles.
