Special interest groups

Your membership entitles you to join Special Interest groups.

Currently the Special Interest groups are Book (through the Book Discussion scheme), Operatunity, Geology, Flourishing groups, and Men's discussion.

Flourishing groups These groups will bring people together to discuss thriving as an older person. See https://www.thirdagefoundation.org


Book group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 3pm. The cost for 10 books for the year is $65 + Courier $6.

Geology led by Edith Smith and Malcolm Luxton.

Operatunity dates are included in the newsletter and events occur about every six weeks. Members car pool to Christchurch. The Operatunity website has more information: click here

Men's Discussion Group - one of our members is currently leading a Men's discussion group. He has plenty of material available for discussion.
