Leaders should print off copies of the SCOG Activity Sign-on form before arriving at the start of the walk for participants to complete before the walk commences.


Please refer to the SCOG Leader guidelines for info about the use of the form, and also to familiarise yourself with all the information contained therein.


After the walk, leaders may wish to write a brief report of the activity using the Report form SCOG Activity Report form


Leaders may wish to use the following as a guide or template when submitting a walk for the Diary.... you can adapt as you see fit, eg you may wish to put more detail in the route description.... just see what other walks are listed in the Diary for ideas on how to make the walk sound interesting.

Saturday 21st March

Royal National Park - Lower Kangaroo Creek

GRADE: MEDIUM - fit walkers only! as there will be a bit of scrambling along the creek with slippery surfaces and some rock scrambling with various trip hazards such as tree roots, loose stones and slippery loose ground and leaves.

ROUTE: Heathcote to Heathcote via Lower Kangaroo Creek and Karloo Pool.

Lots of pools in the creek to choose from for swimming and a long lunch at a really big pool which SCOG calls the Olympic pool.

Train from Central at 08:07 from Platform 25, arriving at Heathcote at 09:00.

BRING: All food (lunch and snacks), drinking water (2 litres minimum), sunscreen protection, sturdy walking shoes.
