Key Contact People

Advisory Committee

Quarterly meetings are held to coordinate the standby activities and statewide resources between disasters. Monthly meetings are held after a disaster until recovery efforts are completed.

The Advisory Committee can be contacted by email at pvdrcvt@gmail.com

The point of contact for the Advisory Committee is Rev. George Keeler, 802-886-2672 or keelergl@gmail.com

Assessment Committee

The Assessment Committee makes initial contacts with communities and people affected by a disaster to determine the extent of unmet needs and what steps have already been taken to meet those needs. Unmet needs that are identified by this committee are referred to the Case Management Committee.

Case Management Committee

SEVCA - Southeastern Vermont Community Action

The Case Management Committee meets monthly and operates under funds raised by the Precision Valley Disaster Recovery Committee. Funds and Case Managers are managed and coordinated through SEVCA.

Volunteer Coordination Committee

Rev. George Keeler - Volunteers fill this position and help on this committee

This committee reviews the unmet needs that may be able to be addressed by volunteers and matches volunteers with projects that they can accomplish. Each unmet need must first be reviewed and corrective action plans developed. Then correction action plans are approved by the property owner before volunteers are assigned to address the need.

This committee also arranges shelter and food for the volunteers while they are helping in the area.

Fundraising Committee

Association of Springfield Area Churches - Volunteers fill this position and help on this committee

This committee is responsible for developing plans for fundraising activities and conducting them. All funds are then held by SEVCA for the Precision Valley Disaster Recovery Committee and dispersed at the direction of the Case Management Committee.
