All vessels carrying dangerous cargoes or with a length over all exceeding or equal to 45 meters must send prior notice, E.T.A., E.T.D. messages and REQUEST OF PILOT by email to pilonov@gmail.com or fax to: +33 468 404 351.

Non - Compliance with the regulation might cause delay and / or extra costs.

Estimated Time of Arrival:

E.T.A. message to SPPMPLNPV PILOTS, 24 hours in advance or at least as soon as leaving the last port.

Content of E.T.A. message: ( IMO standard res A.851(20))

A: Ship's name & N° IMO

B: Date & Time group transmission of Event. ( first 2 digits:day of month; last 4 digits: hours & minutes. if other than UTC, use LT.)

I: Destination (Port la nouvelle:"FRNOU"- Port vendres:"FRPOV") and ETA: Date & Time group expected at Pilot boarding position (see above "B").

O: Deepest draft in meters and centimeters (4 digits)

P: cargo on board

T: Agent: ship's representative

U: Length.Over.All - Breadth.Over.All

X: Remarks: "bow" or "stern" thrusters "working" or "not working" and any deficiencies.

Deviations in E.T.A. of more than one hour to be reported. For regular line vessel a planning must be send at least every friday before 04 PM, for the following week.


REQUEST PILOT for Berthing, Departure or Shifting:

REQUEST PILOT message to SPPMPLNPV PILOTS for operation between (in Local Time),

08 AM and 12 AM and 02 PM and 06 PM must be send not less than two hours in advance.

12 AM and 02 PM must be send  before 10 AM.

06 PM and 08 AM must be send before 04 PM.

        Content of Request Pilot message:

A: Ship's name & N° IMO

B: Date & Time group transmission of Event. ( first 2 digits:day of month; last 4 digits: hours & minutes. if other than UTC, use LT.)

C: Agent: ship's representative

D: "REQUEST PILOT ON BOARD" at Date & Local Time group.

E: Destination ( berth, side alongside or port of destination)

F: Deepest draft in meters and centimeters (4 digits).

G: Cargo on board.

H: Remarks: "bow" or "stern" thrusters "working" or "not working" and any deficiencies.

NOTA: La gestion informatisée, type "Vigiesip (ex :capsud)", des formalités déclaratives applicables à l'entrée et/ou à la sortie des ports de l'Union Européenne (Directive UE n° 2019/1239 du 20/06/19 établissant un système de guichet unique maritime européen), ne dispense pas les Capitaines des navires d'appliquer la réglementation du pilotage maritime: avant tout mouvement à l'intérieur de la zone de pilotage obligatoire, les Capitaines des navires, soumis à l'obligation de pilotage, sont tenus de transmettre directement à la station de pilotage, les E.T.A, et demandes de pilote à bord.
