Weather Policy

*** The Piedmont Science Fair is on hiatus

until a new coordinator and location can be found.

If you would like to participate in another fair,

please contact the regional director for your county.


Due to the complexity of arranging all the details of the science fair, in the event of cancellations due to weather, we will not reschedule the fair. Any cancellations or delays will be posted on this website as soon as possible. If the weather is questionable on the day of the science fair, please check the website before leaving your home.

If we do cancel the science fair due to inclement weather, we will hold a "cyber fair" on the same day. If you wish to be included in the cyber fair, documents must be submitted to piedmontsciencefair@gmail.com by 9:30 a.m. on the day of the fair, and the registration fee must be paid.

The results will be emailed to each participant soon after they are determined by the judges. Any certificates and ribbons will be mailed to your teacher.
