Rescheduled - Native Plant Restoration Event

Our awesome Hike Master Britt, has invited us to help out with National Public Lands to help them plant over 1,000 new native plants as an active habitat restoration project - so cool!

However, because this is on the Naval Weapons Station you must RSVP and have a volunteer from. The attached flyer has the link to the form and the phone number to RSVP too.

The project starts at 8: 0 0 AM and will be completed by noon. If you or your family, friends, or neighbors are interested, please contact the refuge

office at 562 598 1024 to make reservations or the link below. (the pack cannot take the RSVP).

NOTE: All drivers are required to have current license, current registration, and proof of insurance to come aboard.

BRING: water bottles (water to refill will be provided), work gloves, hat, sunscreen, closed-toe footwear, signed volunteer agreement (http://www.fws.gov/refuge/Seal_Beach/what_we_do/get_involved.html)

LEAVE AT HOME: tools (they will be provided), weapons, knives, cameras, open-toed footwear (you will not be permitted to work with open-toed shoes or sandals)
