The original 29EPSS motor have analog system of speed stabilization ( precision 2.5%) and one speed 25 fps.

We can propose modification of original 29EPSS, 10EP-16APK on multi speed crystal sync speed edition with wide technical possibilities ( precision of crystal sync speed +/- 0.001% )

The new electronics can have a few versions.

This is can be microprocessors of first , second and third generations.

The I generation of microprocessors of 1414, 1416, 1418 series have :

1. A few, 6, 10, 16 crystal sync speeds

This can be 6.25, 8, 12, 12.5, 15, 16, 16.6, 20, 24, 25, 30, 32, 33,3, 40, 48, 50 fps. Of 1414, 1416 processors,

Or NTSC versions:

8.0, 12.0, 12.5, 15.0, 16.0, 20.0, 23.976, 24.0, 25.0, 29.97, 30.0, 32.0, 40.0, 48.0, 50.0, 60.0 fps. of 1418 processor.

The selector of speed can be mechanical switch ( version 6, 10 speeds ) or electronic speed selector on 16 speeds with 3 digital LED display.

This is list included a few series of speeds :

- for “ academy “ film shooting with base speed 24 fps and a speeds divisible by 24

8, 12, 16, 24, 32, 48,

- for PAL TV shooting and 50 HZ frequency of main power, with base speed 25 fps and a speeds divisible by 25

- for NTSC TV shooting and 60 Hz frequency of main power, with base speed 30 fps and a speeds divisible by 30 and 23.976, 29.97, 60 fps.

2. The fluent (soft ) motor acceleration and soft stopping. The motor have gradual acceleration of speed, and smooth deceleration, without jerk. The soft start very important for high speeds, because, the mechanism of camera to run without overload.

3. Shutter Parking stops the camera each time in the viewing position.

4. Manual adjust of phase of speed at run mode and manual turn of axis on low speed at stop mode.

5 Wide system of sound information. The electronic confirm you correct loading of program with on of motor, at run of motor, at stop of motor, at stop of motor on fixed position, beep of not crystal sync speed.

The 1414 controllers can have a few additional electronic modules :

- digital film counter with LED display

Can run, stop camera, adjust of phase of speed, run camera with low speed, show result of counter of film, can have digital voltmeter, show not synch speed, have sound signal. Can work on distance 10..20 meters from camera.

The 1416 controllers can have additional functions :

- outside speed control module, compatible with Arri Vario Speed module .

You can set any crystal by standard Arri Vario Speed module.

- speed synthesizer, This is 3 versions of conptrollers with LED display.

The additional electronics module of Shutter Parking stops the camera each time in the viewing position.

I set a special optical sensor of position of mirror disk inside of body of camera.

The signal from optical sensor give to microprocessor and microprocessor parking a shutter on fixed position for viewing.

The price of optical sensor and modify of body of camera 50 Euros.

The motor can have 9 pin connector Pilot-Tone DB9 of computer COM style.

Or Sound style Pilot tone socket with 250 mV and 1.2mV output signal.

The NEW versions of controllers 2201, 2202, 2203 2211, 2212, 2213 ,

build on base ideas of 1414 ( 1418 ) series of microprocessors.

2201, 2202, 2203 controllers with additional crystal sync speeds ( 16, 20, 21 speeds) at list of speeds and additional output device Liquid Crystal Display ( LCD display ).

LCD display have 2 lines with 8 cells at every line and will show of number of speed, value of speed at first line and result of film counting at second line.

The II generation of microprocessors of series 1420 founded on speed synthesizers.

The microprocessor with speed synthesizer have all function of microprocessors with fixed crystal sync speed but, you can set of speed 5..50 fps with step of 0.1 fps, 0.01 fps, 0.002 fps.

The speed synthesizer have 3x ( XX-X ), 4x ( XX-X ) 5x (XX-XXX )digital display and can have a few versions :

The III generation of microprocessors of series 1421 founded on multi speed synthesizers.

The III generation, this is high intelligence system with wide technical possibilities and high precision speed control of 0.001 fps.

The new system included of all base characteristics of previous systems ( 1414,1416, 1420 ) and have more additional programming functions.

The system can have a few versions and I will explain you about maximum technical possibilities.

The initial mode – crystal sync speed.

You can load of a few ( 1…36 pcs ) of crystal synch speed at range 5.000- 50.000 fps with step of 0.001 fps.

The any fixed speed can have any crystal sync speed.

( You have 36 crystal sync speed synthesizers and can load more 45000 speeds.

The every volume of speed load on permanent memory and you can call of any speed of any time.

The system have 5 digital led display and you can see volume of speed.

You can change of volume of speed of camera at stopping mode, and at running mode.

The time of retuning of speed 0.8 sec.

The processor have intelligent program of motor acceleration and deceleration.

The electronics have low speed test running for test of camera and correct film loading.

To have function of adjust of phase of speed at any crystal synch speed and you have fine tuning of phase speed.

The electronics have digital film counter at foots or meters with auto memory of result of last count before stopping of camera.

The next mode of electronics – programming of speed acceleration and deceleration.

For example.

You need begin of shooting with speed of 32 fps and deceleration of speed of camera up to 12.5 fps for 10 sec.

The time of one step of speed retuning 0.8 sec.

10 sec : 0.8 = 12 steps.

(32 fps -12.5 fps ): 12 = 1.625 fps per one step ( 0.8 sec ).

You need load of base points of speed changing :

The initial speed 32.000 fps

Step 1 32.000=1.625 fps = 30.375 fps

Step 2 28.750 fps

Step 3 27.125 fps

……..

…..

Step 11 14.125 fps

Step 12 12.500 fps.

You set of camera on initial speed 32 fps, run of camera and press on button and the camera will change of speed from 32 fps on 12, 5 fps for 10 sec and will work at 12. 5 fps.

You can programming nonlinear function of change of speed of camera.

The microprocessors of 1421 can have a few versions :

1421-0307 with 5 digitals LED display

1421-0309 with 2x8 digitals LCD display.

The LED Display will show you number of speed and value of speed at stop mode and will show of result of film counting of film at run mode.

You can show of result of film counting at stop mode, if you press on “ film” button.

And you can show of speed at run mode, if you press on “ Film “ button at run mode.

The LCD display will show you number of speed, value of speed and result of film counting on 2 lines 8 digitals LCD display.

The film counter can be adjust on a few modes: ( on Foots / meters )

- to count of total film move,

- to count of film move at every take

- to reverse calculation of remainder film into film magazine (countdown )

- to load of capacity of film into film magazine.
