Our annual charity match played today was well supported

by members, their families and friends of the club.

Formerly held as a charity match between captain and president, this event

was transformed by Geoffrey as a fun day with proceeds to go to a charity.

This year, six teams, some in fancy dress, played a round robin tournament,

culminating in a win for the well dressed, "Alive at 65" team.

Sadly, we lost Geoffrey last year, he would have been extremely proud of

todays event, which, through the generosity of everyone, raised over £550,

this will go to "Cancer Research" chosen by Geoff's wife Pam.
