Club News

It is with great sadness that the club announce the untimely passing of our dear friend and bowling colleague Tony Thomas early this morning (16th March 2020)

Tony had been in hospital following an accident for a number of weeks.
The club and all it's members wish to extend our condolences to Roslyn and the family at this sad time, and would offer our support to them all.

The exciting yet challenging news is that at long last Museum BC and Crown Green BC will be jointly responsible for the maintenance of both greens. This is the culmination of four years of negotiations with Lichfield District Council.

Following the very successful day in 2018, Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre Stanford Hall staff and patients, having settled in to their new home, will be welcomed back to LMBC on 11th September for a further bowling competition.
It is proposed that this will be a regular annual fixture to entertain our personnel from the forces.

"Taster" sessions are held regularly. Please contact any committee member for dates.
Anyone with an interest in taking up bowling is more than welcome, equipment supplied, but flat shoes or trainers must be worn.

The club are actively seeking new members , experience not necessary, all beginners warmly welcomed to join our well established friendly club. We hold many friendly mixed matches as well as Ladies only matches.
Members are at the green most days of the week between 11am and 4pm, also two evenings from 5pm till 9pm (Tuesday/Thursday)
If you are interested, please come along and speak to a member at the green, alternatively, contact someone from the list of the committee.
We look forward to seeing you.
